Our 'Oldambster' farmhouse Old Gliede is situated on the border of the village of Vriescheloo and dates from 1898. The former cattle and horses stable has been transformed into a cosy sitting room which can be used in the evenings. On a cold night the fire can be lit.

The guest accommodation is a familyroom with 2-4 beds, which makes this an ideal family room. The room is situated at the back of the house and has a private entrance to the garden. As we have only one guestroom you will have the maximum of privacy and you can really enjoy the space, peace and quiet.

A luxurious breakfast is served in the room at the time of your choice.  Our breakfast, including seasonal fruit, is served between 8 am till 9.00 am. 

There is a parking space at the back of the farmhouse close to the guestroom. Motorbikes and bicycles can be parked in the large shed called ‚'De Deel'. The farmhouse is situated along a canal with a small forest and fields within walking distance. Deer, pheasants and other wildlife can be seen in the area. There is also a small lake nearby where swimming is permitted.

We have a B&B that is suitable for 4 people. The room is light and has a glaze double door which comes out into the back garden. The room has tea and coffee facilities so you can make yourself a nice cup of tea or coffee. The bathroom with shower and basin is situated in the back house. This is also where the guest room is.

You can also book the cosy sittingroom which has a woodstove and oven (extra € 9,00 - € 13,50 p.n)

Please note we operate a non smoking policy. Unfortunately we cannot permit pets. Payment only by banktransfer (no cheque).
